180 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Defence if staff members of his Department have received funding to attend courses; if so, the number of courses attended; the names of the courses; and the amount paid since June 1997. [7584/99]
The information requested is detailed in the following tabular statement. It is understood that the question relates to Civil Service staff of the Department and not to Defence Forces' personnel.
The Deputy might note that courses provided in-house by my Department's training and development unit are not costed individually. However, the global figure for the unit's staff salary costs and overheads costs is given.
