Vol. 502 No. 3

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Michael Noonan

Question:

591 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has sanctioned an extension to Lisnagry national school in County Limerick (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7727/99]

An application has been received in my Department from the management of Lisnagry national school for the provision of additional classroom accommodation. This application is being examined at present to determine the schools longer-term requirements, having regard to new housing proposals for the general area.

As soon as the examination is completed, my Department will contact the school authorities in the matter.
