Vol. 502 No. 4

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Michael Ring

Question:

153 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the names, addresses and relevant folio numbers of all of the registered owners of the commonage held in 70 shares in the townlands of Uggool, Derry, Glencullin, Tawnynaraw, Glenummera Cleashcame, Dadreen, Doovilra, Glenconnelly, Kinnakillew Mweelin, Sixnoggins and Tallabaun in respect of which the land comprised in folio 24039, County Mayo, stand registered in respect of 1/70th interest share. [8509/99]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the request made by the Deputy is in respect of a service provided by the Registry for which fees are payable in accordance with Statutory Instrument No. 363 of 1991.

I am further informed that the procedure involved in carrying out this service necessitates that the interested parties apply through their agent or attend at the Land Registry Offices to identify the areas of property in question. The Land Registry provides a mapping search service on payment of the appropriate fee. I also understand that the services of law searchers are usually employed.
