161 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science when a decision will be made on the refund of private tuition costs for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact his Department has a copy of the child's assessment. [8530/99]
I understand that, following the receipt of the assessment carried out on the child in question, a member of my Department's inspectorate visited the school and reviewed this child's progress. I expect to receive the inspector's report very shortly and a decision will then be taken on what additional support, if any, is required.
