163 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will arrange for the carrying out of improvements to the playground at Timahoe national school, County Kildare, in order to ensure the safety of children; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8585/99]

My Department has no record of an application from Timahoe national school, County Kildare for grant aid to carry out improvement to the playground of the school. If an application is received from the school management, the matter will be processed in the normal way.
