The Commission on Public Service Pensions was established in February 1996. It presented its interim report in November 1997. It was originally scheduled to report to Government in 1998, but because of its wide ranging terms of reference, covering pension provision across the public service, it has not been possible to adhere to this deadline. It is expected that the commission will submit its final report in the next few months.
