The custom post at Muff will continue to be required by the Revenue Com missioners Customs and Excise until a scheme of works has been completed at their Bridgend site. These works will be completed in about two months time and the Commissioners of Public Works are currently circularising all Departments to ascertain if any of them might require the premises at Muff when it becomes available. Government contract procedures require that apart from exceptional circumstances, property which is surplus to the State's requirements should be disposed of by public competition.
