96 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide the additional resources for Scoil Uí Riada, An Chearnóg, Kilcock, County Kildare, to allow it to employ a classroom assistant as recommended by a senior registrar in child and adolescent psychiatry of the Eastern Health Board to deal with the special difficulties of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department's inspectorate has recently reported on the special educational needs of the child referred to by the Deputy.

This report is being considered in my Department at present.
