142 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the number of persons on the live register in Kildare North in each of the past six years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12442/99]
It is not possible to give the information in the format requested by the Deputy. However, the following table shows the number of persons on the live register classified by the local office of registration, for local offices located in the northern part of Kildare, as at the end of December each year and at the end of March 1999. It should be noted that the areas served by local offices do not necessarily come from a particular region or area which can be precisely delineated. The following table would therefore include some people not living in the north Kildare area.
