Question:

91 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of full-time jobs achieved following participation in FÁS training courses in each of the past four years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12444/99]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 89 and 91 together.

Data on the employment outcomes of people participating in FÁS training programmes is compiled for FÁS by the Economic and Social Research Institute. The ESRI surveys FÁS participants who completed training programmes 12-18 months before the survey date.

I have asked FÁS to supply you with the relevant survey data in response to his questions.
