Ahearn asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay with the work on the extension to Clerihan national school, Clonmel, County Tipperary; the steps, if any, he will take to ensure the accommodation is ready for September 1999; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Construction of an extension to Clerihan national school, Clonmel, County Tipperary is currently in progress.

It is expected that works will be completed prior to September 1999.
