38 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Defence if his Department has made a submission to the steering group on the future management of the Curragh, County Kildare; when the final report from this group will be available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11167/99]

The position is that both my Department and the Defence Forces are represented on the interdepartmental task force on the future management and development of the Curragh of Kildare. I am advised that the report of the task force will be finalised in the coming days.
