A submission from the Craft Butchers of Ireland on behalf of the small abattoir group requesting inclusion for financial assistance in the new structural funds for the years 2000-2006 to upgrade their abattoirs has been received by my Department. No decision has been made as yet on expenditure under the new round of structural funds.
