Vol. 505 No. 6

Written Answers. - Remedial Works Scheme.

Richard Bruton

Question:

192 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if funds will be made available to the next phase of the Darndale refurbishment (details supplied) which has recently been submitted to his Department and earmarked for a further outstanding phase. [14337/99]

Dublin Corporation's revised proposals which were recently received in my Department are under examination. A decision will be issued to the local authority as soon as possible. A sum of £5.5 million has been allocated to the corporation under the remedial works scheme for this year. The apportionment of the allocation between approved projects is a matter for the local authority.
