Vol. 505 No. 6

Written Answers. - Docklands Development Authority.

Ruairí Quinn

Question:

34 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans, if any, he has to have further meetings with the Docklands Development Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10865/99]

I have no formal request for a meeting from the Dublin docklands development authority. I have met the chairman of the authority from time to time as the need has arisen. In addition, my Department is in regular contact with the authority with a view to supporting it in every way possible in fulfilling its statu tory role. I have, at present, no plans for a further meeting with the authority.
