Vol. 506 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

288 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be called for a hip replacement operation to Cappagh Hospital, Dublin 11; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15451/99]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the responsibility of St. Mary's Orthopaedic Hospital, Cappagh. I have asked the secretary manager of the hospital to investigate the position regarding this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
