443 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education and Science if a remedial teacher will be appointed to Skeheenarinke national school, County Tipperary (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15317/99]
My Department is currently finalising arrangements for the extension of the remedial teacher service to all first and second level schools with effect from September next.
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the schools to which she refers will be included in this extension of service.
