Emmet Stagg

Question:

137 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the study has been completed into the flooding problems at Hazelhatch, Celbridge, County Kildare; the proposals, if any, there are to alleviate flooding; if funding has been provided for these measures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The investigations being carried out by the Commissioners of Public Works in conjunction with a firm of consulting engineers into the flooding problems at Hazelhatch, Celbridge, County Kildare, have not yet been completed. The provision of funding for a works scheme will be considered when definitive proposals for alleviating the problem are available.
