Vol. 507 No. 3

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Noel Ahern

Question:

179 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 was granted possessory title to a farm in County Meath and in spite of her best efforts has not got absolute title; the way in which this land is registered; the way in which it can be brought to a conclusion; the rights she has in having the matter finalised in view of the fact various court cases and appeals to the Law Society have proved unsuccessful; if he will allocate legal assistance to her in view of the fact her solicitors will no longer act for her; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16940/99]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this property cannot be fully identified on the basis of the details supplied.

If the Deputy can let me have the dealing number, the folio number and, if available, the date of lodgement of the application and the name of the lodging party, I will have further inquiries made in the matter.
