Vol. 507 No. 4

Written Answers. - Control of Farm Pollution Scheme.

Paul Bradford

Question:

97 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if farmers who have been awaiting the re-introduction of the control of farmyard pollution scheme will have their applications processed with a minimum of delay in order that they can complete required pollution control work during 1999. [17061/99]

Applications under the new national scheme for the control of farm pollution will be processed in order of receipt. Every effort will be made to process the applications received as quickly as possible and to issue the necessary written approvals to commence work.
