Vol. 507 No. 4

Written Answers. - Housing Grants.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

169 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17167/99]

An inspector of the Department visited the house on 29 January 1999 and found the works incomplete and the house unoccupied. A further inspection, with a view to payment of the grant, will be carried out when the applicant notifies my Department that the works are complete and he is in occupation of the house as his normal place of residence.
