Question:

84 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Defence the number of Defence Forces' members serving overseas with the United Nations; the areas in which they are serving; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16992/99]

The number of Defence Forces personnel currently serving with UN missions is 707. Details of these missions are as follows:

(i)

UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon)
