120 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the position in regard to the provision of the extra facilities required at Naas General Hospital, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18469/99]

The development at Naas General Hospital is proceeding on schedule. I anticipate that building work on the hospital site will commence before the end of the year.
