Vol. 509 No. 5

Written Answers. - Medical Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

123 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who has to attend for dialysis at a hospital in Dublin to receive this care at Waterford Regional Hospital. [20815/99]

The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Kilkenny in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
