Question:

149 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 284 and 285 of 12 October 1999, any naturalisation files other than those in respect of citizenship granted under the paassports for investment scheme have been sent to the Moriarty tribunal; and, if so, the numbers sent.

An order from the Moriarty tribunal related to four nauralisation files which were not part of the investment based scheme was received in my Department on 3 March 1999. These files which were sent to the tribunal on 15 March 1999 relate to 15 applicants for naturalisation.
