96 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she intends to provide money to Vantastic in relation to its urgent annual subvention needs to provide for the special needs of the disabled; if her attention has been drawn to the recent submission made to her Department seeking a sum of £380,000 per annum; and the arrangements, if any, she will make directly or in conjunction with her Government colleagues to provide these resources to this group. I am aware of the development plan submitted by Vantastic to my Department earlier this year. As I indicated in my reply to Question No. 140 of 12 October 1999 the Government agreed to the provision of £105,000 to it to overcome its financial difficulties and this payment was made by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform in August 1999.
