113 An Leas-Cheann Comhairle asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20915/99]
Payment of the amounts due under the 1996 beef cow headage scheme and the 1997 special beef premium scheme will issue within the next 14 days. No application has been received from the person named under the 1998 special beef premium scheme.
114 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be awarded full special beef and bull premium payments. [20979/99]
The person named applied for special beef premium but due to disease restriction on his herd, could not supply the cattle identity cards at the time of application.
The person named was informed by the Department that he would have to ensure that the cards were punched and stamped for the premium. However, he sold the animals without doing so and the Department, therefore, has requested proof of slaughter. On receipt of same, his case will be reviewed.
115 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a 1999 22 month special beef premium. [20980/99]
The person named submitted two special beef premium applications to date in 1999 as follows: 24 August 1999 containing a total of four animals, three 10 month and one 22 month and 28 September 1999 containing 50 animals, all 22 month animals.
The first application has been processed by the unit and payment will issue in November subject to qualification under stocking density criteria.
