576 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science if a child care assistant will be provided to meet the needs of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare suffering from autism in Scoil Michíl Naofa national school, Stanhope Place, Athy, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department recently sanctioned a full-time special needs assistant to Scoil Michíl Naofa national school, Athy, County Kildare to assist in the enrolment of the pupil in question.
