Vol. 509 No. 6

Written Answers. - Ministerial Meetings.

Alan Shatter

Question:

103 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the discussions, if any, he has had with the Secretary General of NATO. [20964/99]

I have had no discussions with the Secretary General of NATO.

The Department of Foreign Affairs, at official level, has had a number of useful contacts with the NATO Secretariat, both in regard to our contributions to the UN-mandated, NATO-led missions, KFOR in Kosovo and SFOR in Bosnia; and also in relation to preparations for our planned participation in PfP.
