Michael Bell

Question:

37 Mr. Bell asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of work permits applied for and granted to workers on a drilling rig operated by a company (details supplied); the nationalities of each worker at every level; if work permits were issued due to the fact Irish workers were not available; the conditions and period of each permit; and if she will make a statement on the matter. To date no applications for work permits have been either received from or granted to the company mentioned in so far as my Department is concerned.
