Vol. 510 No. 4

Written Answers. - Milk Quota.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

108 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) will be allocated an extra milk quota as a hardship case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22802/99]

There is no record in my Department of an application from the person named to the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal for an allocation of additional quota. The tribunal is not in a position to examine any further applications in the current milk quota year. The person named can apply when application forms for the 2000-01 milk quota year become available. These forms will be available after 1 April 2000 from milk purchasers and also from the milk policy division, Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
