Vol. 510 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

107 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a REP scheme payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22800/99]

(Mr. Walsh): This application was subject to a detailed plan examination and on-farm inspection. The agri-environmental plan was found to contain a number of deficiencies which needed to be rectified in a revised plan. Two revisions of the applicant's plan were rejected by my Department as each contained deficiencies. A third revised plan was submitted subsequently and is being assessed at present by my Department. No payment can be processed until the plan is found to be satisfactory.
