101 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the cost involved in sending two officials from Hume House to Achill Island, County Mayo, earlier in 1999 to resolve commonage problems, giving a breakdown of travel costs and the costs of setting up the temporary office. [23038/99]

The total cost of sending the two officials to Achill for the two days in question was £795.16. The cost of the office for two days was £60.
