Question:

143 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the position in relation to a 1999 headage grant payment for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23143/99]

The 1999 area aid application for the person named has now been fully processed, and any payments due will issue as soon as possible.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

144 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason for the delay in the payment of headage to a person (details supplied) in County Laois; and when payment will be made. [23188/99]

The person named will be paid his full entitlement of £2,000.25 under the 1999 cattle headage scheme and £219.00 under the 1999 beef cow scheme within the next two weeks.

145 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if the area aid problems of a person (details supplied) will be resolved; if a 1999 cattle headage payment will be released; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23189/99]

The person named included commonage in his 1999 area aid application, but did not provide proof of his entitlement to claim this commonage. The herdowner has been informed of this, and his application cannot be processed further until this proof is provided.
