Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Jack Wall

Question:

265 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive an appointment for a hip operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23421/99]

The provision of orthopaedic treatment in this case is a matter, in the first instance, for the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin incorporating the National Children's Hospital. I have therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the hospital to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
