Vol. 510 No. 6

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Appeals.

Michael Ring

Question:

340 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the reason payment to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo was stopped in view of the fact that she still believes she is entitled to another oral hearing. [23538/99]

The position in this case is as set out in my reply to the Deputy's question on 20 October 1999. The decision of the appeals officer in this case, which was made following an oral hearing, is final and conclusive and can only be reviewed in the light of new facts or fresh evidence. No such facts or evidence have been supplied.
