Question:383 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will extend the psychology services of his Department to primary schools in County Laois and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23256/99]
Written Answers. - Psychological Service.
The management of the National Educational Psychological Service Agency, which was established formally on 1 September 1999, is currently drawing up a development plan for the phased expansion of its service. The particular needs of all counties, including County Laois, are being considered in the formulation of this plan. It is envisaged that all schools will have access to the Psychological Service by the end of a five year development period beginning in 1999.
