Moynihan-Cronin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the progress made in implementing the interim report of the interdepartmental group on the implementation of a national minimum wage; the timetable for the introduction of the minimum wage; if she has received a report from the ESRI suggesting that the cost of introducing the minimum wage was considerably less than had previously been anticipated; the plans, if any, she has to review the level of the proposed minimum wage in view of the increase in wage levels since the original report was produced; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
