Question:115 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has implemented the grievance procedures in sections 28 and 29 of the Education Act, 1998. [25226/99]
Written Answers. - Education Act.
Since the enactment of the Education Act, 1998, a considerable amount of work has been undertaken to facilitate the commencement of the various sections. Many of these have already been commenced and work on a number of others is at an advanced stage. In particular, preparatory work for the implementation of sections 28 and 19 is under way.
In accordance with section 1(4) of the Act, I shall be providing a full report on implementation to both Houses later this month.
