Question:103 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science his views on the work of the after school project in the Dublin 1 area; and if he will mainstream the funding of the project. [22197/99]
Written Answers. - Project Funding.
As the Deputy is aware, the project to which he refers is currently supported from a number of sources including FÁS, the EU EMPLOYMENT community initiative and the local drugs task force.
This project is located within the Dublin north east inner city integrated service process area and I understand that continued support for the project is one of the key recommendations emerging from the research for that area.
However I understand that a comprehensive evaluation of this project has yet to be undertaken by the management committee of the project. The question of funding for and mainstreaming of the project will be considered of receipt of the evaluation report.
