Written Answers. - Local Improvement Schemes.
Some £270,000 was allocated to Kildare County Council under my Department's remedial works scheme in respect of refurbishment works which were completed at this estate in 1996. Following the recent submission of proposals for funding of environmental improvement works, the council were informed that the carrying out of any further works at this estate is a matter for them, to be funded from their own resources.
