24 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has received an application for funding from an organisation (details supplied) in order to assist it to develop a three year work programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26687/99]
I have received an application for funding from the organisation concerned and officials of my Department are currently examining it, in conjunction with the relevant health board. I have already made funding available to this organisation earlier this year and I have given it a further commitment to a contribution toward the cost of a conference in 2000.
