Written Answers. - Sale of Aer Lingus.
The Government authorised me on 14 December 1999 to, inter alia, initiate a process leading to an initial public offering of shares in Aer Lingus. This process is now under way. However, a number of issues, including the position of worker directors on the board of Aer Lingus, remain to be considered by the Government.
