Vol. 513 No. 1

Written Answers. - Civil Service Appointments.

John Perry

Question:

347 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be called for an interview for clerical officer in view of the fact that he has completed the examination; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1302/00]

The person in question applied for a clerical officer position in Dublin on foot of an open competition held by the Civil Service Commissioners. To date 367 candidates, of those successful at the written stage, have been called to interview. The Civil Service Commission would hope to reach the candidate's place and to call him for interview within the next few months.
