Question:453 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Health and Children if retired nurses will get benefits in pension as applied in the settlement of the nurses' strike. [1508/00]

Where adjustments have been made to the salaries applicable to nursing grades in which people served before their retirement, it is the intention of the Government that retired nurses who served in such grades will benefit from these increases, in accordance with standard parity criteria.
