486 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give details on the proposed day centre for the elderly in Clonmel, County Tipperary; when this centre will be in operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1945/00]

Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Dr. Moffatt):

I have received a proposal from the South-Eastern Health Board for the appointment of a design team for this project. The proposal is being considered in the context of the capital funding available under the national development plan.
