515 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 88 of 16 December 1999, the rate struck by local authorities in 1999 on a county by county basis, with details for each county council and urban council; and the comparative figures for 1998. Details of rates struck by each rating authority in 1998 in respect of 1999 were set out in my reply to Question No. 88 of 16 December 1999. The following table sets out a provisional listing of rates struck in 1999 in respect of 2000. Some of the details in the table were conveyed by local authorities to my Department by telephone and are subject to written confirmation. A definitive list will be sent to the Deputy when final confirmations are received.
