Vol. 513 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Collection Points.

Michael Ring

Question:

711 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason the collection point was changed for children attending a national school (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact it has been the same for the past 30 years; if parents of children attending the school were notified of the change in the collection point; if so, the date in this regard; the form of the notification, that is, letter or telephone call; the plans, if any, he has to revert the collection point to its original location; the reason the finding of a comprehensive report by Bus Éireann has not been made available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I regret that the information requested by the Deputy is not available at present because of an industrial dispute in my Department. I will arrange to have the information forwarded to the Deputy.
