765 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will confirm the requisite funding to enable the third level access project operating out of Collinstown Park community college, Dublin 22, to continue its highly successful work which has seen a fourfold increase in participation in tertiary education. [1553/00]
I have received a submission from the director of the Clondalkin higher education access project in which he seeks mainstream funding from my Department for the project. My Department at present part-funds the project. I am considering this matter fully in the light of the submission made and having regard to the financial resources available to me this year for projects of this type and any other funding available.
I will communicate a decision to the director of the project as early as possible. I will also communicate with the Deputy.
