772 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in having substantial progress made on the amalgamation of two national schools (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and the situation regarding this proposal. [1766/00]

I regret that the information requested by the Deputy is not available at present because of an industrial dispute in my Department. I will arrange to have the information forwarded to the Deputy.
